By Arvind Ojha: The Delhi Police's special cell recovered a dead body chopped into three pieces from the Bhalswa drain on Saturday. This comes after the police arrested 56-year-old Naushad and 29-year-old Jagjit Singh under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) for having suspected links with terrorist organisations.

Police said they are trying to identify the deceased.

GRENADES RECOVERED, BLOOD STAIN FOUND

Delhi Police carried out a special raid on a house in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri on Thursday night. Police recovered three pistols and 22 rounds from the accused. The two were arrested for allegedly planning targeted killings and were sent to police custody for 14 days on Friday.

During the investigation, the accused led the police team to their rented accommodation at Shradha Nand Colony, PS Bhalaswa Dairy. Police said they recovered two hand grenades from the house and the forensic team also found traces of blood.

Police sources said that Jagjit and Naushad had murdered someone at the house and also recorded the act. They had both sent the alleged video to their handler.

Jagjit Singh was in contact with Khalistani terrorist Arshdeep Singh Gill alias Arsh Dalla and kept getting instructions from anti-national elements from other countries. Gill was designated a terrorist by the government.

Naushad was connected to the terrorist organisation Harkat ul-Ansar and was out of jail after serving a sentence in a double murder case.
